Straight from the jar:  Using a spoon eat tablespoon or two a day of virgin coconut oil to take as a supplement to your diet.

Use coconut oil in place of margarine: (which is not good for your heart the way coconut oil certainly is), vegetable shortening and vegetable oil. You can use coconut oil as a spread, like butter, too.

Add coconut oil to smoothies: Make a simple, nutritious beverage by blending 8 ounces yogurt, 4 ounces fruit, 1/4 cup milk and 2 TB coconut oil. Add a fresh raw egg if desired.
